Acrylic on Canvas, 80×80cm
February 2026
An ode to new beginnings.
While I was moving forward in pursuit of becoming a full time artist I had a vision beginning of this year. A vision that shaped how I felt about my transitioning from a closing chapter to a new one.
I envisioned exactly what I ended up putting on canvas. Lilies to me aren’t only beautiful flowers, they resemble purity, tenderness and life. Along with it comes the fire, a mighty source and seemingly opposed but not in a harmful way.
This fire removes what harms.
It reveals what endures.
It prepares for purpose.
