Acrylic on Canvas, 40x30cm

This piece carries a certain heaviness,
a weight I felt in my heart as I was confronted with old wounds that had never fully healed. Even as I walked through the dark, unable to see where the path would lead, I held onto a quiet hope for a way out.
That longing, that fragile flicker in the shadows, is what I tried to capture in this imagined landscape.
“though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”
Psalm 23:4 KJV
